Little Indians is a children’s clothing brand for 0-3 years with a twist of the wild west. It was created in 2014 by Vanessa de Kock Erasmus from Rotterdam who decided that she missed a certain style for her two boys Dayne and Jimmy.
The collection begon with little slippers for made out of soft leather and a few pants. It was an immediate success. In little under 2 years, Little Indians was being sold at over 125 boutiques world wide. An amazing achievement for Vanessa.
The secret to Vanessa’s success is not only her drive and passion but the recognition that baby clothes have to be of great quality, good fun and something that parents absolutely love.
For the summer of 2016, the collection has been extended to sweatshirts and tees. Little Indians uses subtle colours, bringing olive green, dusty pink, mauve and black in the mix. The pieces have fitting texts such as ‘Boho Baby‘ and ‘This baby rocks‘.
For the winter of 2016 it will be extended further with fantastic knits in soft wool.
One of the things we love about Kidscase is their photography. The have worked with Annemarieke van Drimmelen and more recently with Flannery o’kafka, two wonderfully talented photographers. Both the look book and lifestyle pictures from Kidscase are to die for and something we resuse time and time again for our marketing.
Recently Kidscase have worked with artist Antoine Peters to form the Kidscase + Antoine Peters collection. This is a daring step for Kidscase who have moved away from soft colouring to bold brash yellow and reds.
